Using PrairieTest in your course

PrairieTest can facilitate the logistics of offering computer-based exams in two formats:

• in-person:
  • using either a computer lab with available computers
  • any classroom where students bring their own laptops
• online:
  • with Zoom proctoring
  • without proctoring

The exams can be scheduled following:

• a synchronous format: all students take the exam at the same time (for example, during lecture time)
• an asynchronous format: students will be taking the exam over a period of time

Instructors have the option to:

• pre-assign students to designated time slots
• allow students to select their time slots
